Less than truckload (LTL) mode is used for the transportation of small freight or when a the use of an entire trailer is not required. This method can be used for freight weights that are under 15,000 lbs.

Special service options: You have access to special services like liftgates and inside pickup and delivery. 

Tracking: LTL carriers offer tacking capablities through BOL number, PRO number, PO number, shipment reference number, and the list goes on.
